Association of Flower Bulb Growers
Welcome on our web site!
The Association was establieshed in 1994 by flowers and bulbs producers of tulips, lilies, narcissus, gladiolus and other bulbous plants. The main goals of the Association are popularization of modern growing’s technologies of bulbous plants (both flowers and bulbs) and representation of our member’s interests againts govermental and local authorities.
The above goals are realised by:
- Training meetings organised every year;
- Visits at the best horticultural farms in Poland;
- Organisation of annual training trips abroad (1997 – The Netherlands; 1998 – Lithuania and Latvia; 1999 – France; 2001 - The Netherlands; 2002 - The Netherlands; 2004 - Germany; 2006 - Lithuania);
- Edition of bullettin, twice a year, containing papers about production of bulb flowers and flower bulbs;
- Promotion of bulbous flowers by participation and organisation of flower exhibitions (Lily Exhibition in Warsaw every July and Tulip Exhibition in Warsaw every 2 weeks before Easter);
- Permanent advisory service provided by reaserchers from Institute of Pomology and Floriculture and Agricultural Universities.
